Steamed Pears Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pear per serving

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil per pear

  • 1 tsp honey per pear

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

 

STEPS

  1. Slice pear(s) in half and remove seeds and stem.

  2. Rub pear(s) with coconut oil and honey. Tip: If your coconut oil is solidified you can wait to smear it on after the pears have warmed, start by placing a dollop of oil in the core.

  3. Place pear(s) in a steaming basket and sprinkle with cinnamon. Steam pears over an inch of water 5-10 minutes until desired texture.

  4. ENJOY!
